Antique cloth wrapping cloth and pouches

Wrapping cloth and small purse made of (presumably) old ramie cloth.
Square patches are made of hemp.
Sewed with ramie fiber and handmade ramie thread and made the ropes for tying with ramie fiber.

Cloth woven with backstrap loom havs kind of softness and tension, unlike with treadle loom.
With the former loom the warp is not tightly fixed but applied tension with the weaver's belly.
With the latter on the other hand, it is firmly fixed to the loom.
So I chose the cloth woven with backstrap loom wthich is suitable for wrapping.
(Side note: Ramie fiber takes more time to get soft than hemp fiber)
