Yurayura swing bag

I fell in love with a piece of cloth in an antique fabric shop I stopped by.
The dark color, which had partly faded over long time, gave the cloth a sense of depth. It was wild and strong with its rough yarn, but soft and airy at the same time, for it was woven loosely.

Scince it was June and the days were getting longer, I decided to make a bag with that strong-but-airy cloth. I was sure it would be a bag for summer ---and it was.

Folded simply in half and sewed with ramie thread I had made before. I'd also made a bundle of ramie rope years ago, so I added it as the shoulder strap.
